Jimmy Parker

A proud graduate of Temple University School of Music, Jimmy Parker is a highly regarded, Philadelphia-based sousaphone and tuba player known throughout the regional jazz scene for his exceptional technique and “terrifying chops”.

He frequently performs with prominent brass bands, jazz ensembles, and traditional groups across the East Coast.

Some of the groups that he performs with include: Drew Nugent + the Midnight Society, Arty and the Hot Katz, and the West Philadelphia Orchestra, to name a few.

Jimmy has also recorded with numerous groups in the Philadelphia area. The “Holiday Brass” feels very fortunate to have him with us!
